Rick
Blackson’s distinctive skill is his ability to connect with
each audience even anchored behind the keyboard. A prominent composer,
arranger, and performer of unlimited talent and energy, Rick is
in constant demand as a private piano
and voice instructor.
Well-known
for his work as music director of numerous professional and community
theater productions, he is also a familiar presence on
TV/radio doing voice-overs, commercials, and having
hosted a weekly television baseball show.
In
addition, he has written and produced commercials and corporate
training and promotional videos. Of course, Rick is pianist, vocalist,
and arranger for the established Cabaret
Act of Mary Jo Maluso & Rick Blackson which formed in 1990.
